The efforts of the Gender Equity Unit at Haifa University are integrated into implementation of the University’s vision to adopt the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In the year 2023, the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, which assesses universities against each of these SDGs, ranked the University of Haifa in the ninth place in gender equality. The Times Higher Education gender equality rating measures universities’ research on the study of gender equality, their policies on gender equality, and their commitment to recruiting and promoting women.
